About World challenge Uzbekistan 2016 - Miko Konii-Govier
In Uzbekistan I would be doing volunteer work and helping the local community. Over the course of the trip I would be hiking across the Chimgran Mountains. This five-day trek explores the Chimgran Range of the Wesstern Tian Shan Mountains. I will also be doing a community project where I will be staying in one of the Nuratau Mountain villages. Here I will be staying with a Tajik family offering me are rare chance to immerse myself in the community and an insight into a rich new culture. I will stay there for 5 days where I will be taking part in volunteer work carried out in the village as well as helping out with daily tasks such as fetching water and collecting harvest. Part of the money raised will go to the community. This is the chance of a lifetime and will be a fantastic experience.
