Newton Aycliffe Cougars Cheerleading Squad

N A Cougars are a Cheerleading Squad made up of 4 different groups, these are: Preps - NAC Kittenz ages 3-9; Peewees - NAC Cubz ages 9-12; Juniors - NAC Allstarz ages 12-15; Seniors - NAC Extreme ages 13; We are based in County Durham and attract members from all over the North East Tyne Tees region. We compete twice a year in Blackpool at the Winter Gardens for the European and Northern IDTA Classic Cheer and Chant Competitions and have always been successful, coming home with an abundance of trophies to add to our collection. We are currently trying to raise funds for our own venue and buses and presently we train at Greenfield Community and Arts Centre in Newton Aycliffe. We appear at various fetes and shows, namely The Great Aycliffe Show on August Bank Holiday Weekend, in which we perform, participate and raise funds. N A Cougars are actively seeking sponsorship to help us to extend our reach within the community and make it more possible for marginalised and disadvantaged children to experience improved health and inclusion within a team oriented sport and exercise project.
