About Nantwich Museum
Nantwich Museum is a local museum that tells the history of the town from Roman times through the Civil War Battle of Nantwich to the making of the famous Cheshire cheese. The museum is free to the public. It welcomes parties of school children, provides volunteering opportunities for local people and hosts a monthly group for those living with dementia . The museum costs around £1,000 per week just to run. It receives some support from Nantwich and Cheshire Councils BUT needs further funds.
