About Newport Inn Cricket Club
The 'Newport Inn Cricket Club' is a village side cricket team that plays in the village of Braishfield. It was established in the early 1980s, and has been playing with a team mixed of youth and experience. It supports the local community and many of the players that grace the field live locally in the village. NICC play circa 35 fixtures a season, with most being 40 over Sunday games against other villages, pubs & work teams. There are also mid-week games as well, played in the format of T20.
