About Nikki Spencer Fund
Nikki works for Aberdeenshire Council and was diagnosed with bone cancer in 2010. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy prior to an operation in February 2011 to amputate her leg above the knee. Although she will be provided with a prosthetic leg by the NHS, she would ideally like a lighter and more flexible one. A group of her work colleagues are in the process of organising various fund raising nights and events to help her get the funds together. The prosthesis is to cost in the range of £10,000.
