About Rainford Band

Rainford Band was formed in 1976 and practices in Rainford - a small village located on the outskirts of St Helens. Last year for the first time in the bands history we were promoted nationally into the First Section, and whilst we are going from strength to strength we are still very proud of our village roots and continue to support our community at local events. We are very lucky to receive great support from the people of Rainford but as a self funding organisation we are always looking for new ways to raise money, to help pay for music, instruments, band room running costs, etc, so any further donations would be greatfully received.
