About RSPCA Cornwall Branch
The RSPCA exists to prevent cruelty and promote kindness to all animals. RSPCA Cornwall Branch is one of over 150 independently registered charities that make up the RSPCA in England and Wales. Each branch must raise its own funds to maintain its animal facilities and local welfare campaigns; we receive no government funding. RSPCA Cornwall Branch owns and runs the Venton Centre near St Columb, which rehomes hundreds of unwanted animals every year at an annual cost of more than £700,000.
