About World Challenge Borneo 2021 - Ruby Young
In Borneo the destruction of the rainforest for the palm oil industry and illegal logging is having a devastating effect and is a direct cause of animals such as orang-utans, sun bears and Pygmy elephants becoming endangered. Borneo is losing rainforest at twice the rate of the worlds tropical jungle. I have the opportunity through world challenge to work with these amazing animals and contribute, if only a little, to help with the preservation of the remaining rainforest.
