In 2016 I will travel to Ecuador. As part of the expedition I will be visiting a dormant volcano, camp on the crater of the volcano overlooking the lake and spending a couple of days trekking the surrounding area. I will have the opportunity to enjoy the sights, sounds and aromas of the famous Otavalo market! For the perfect end to the expedition, I will visit the truly unique Galpagos Islands. I will also get involved in a project within an Amazonian community. The Yanapuma NAPO is a fantastic project which aims to promote sustainable community development in this extremely rural and cut-off region of Ecuador. Whilst living and working with the villagers I will learn about Ecuador's varied ethnic origins and cultures, whilst providing genuine help to a much needed development.
