About this cause

About our cause

Stafford & Stone Canoe Club are the premier Canoe Slalom club in the UK and have been paddling on the River Trent in Stone for almost 50 years. The club is run by volunteers and supports junior and adult paddlers to learn and excel in the sport. Many of our junior paddlers have gone on to become World and European Champions, as well as Olympians. Most recently Lizzie Neave (London 2012 Semi Finalist), Joe Clarke (Rio 2016 Gold Medal) and Adam Burgess (has qualified for Tokyo 2021).
