About our cause

In July 2017 I will be visiting Cambodia and Laos for my World Challenge.When i am there i will be completing four phases: acclimatisation, trekking, project, and rest & relaxation. Which we will decide as a team what type of projects and activities we will do.For acclimatisation phase i will be completing smaller tasks to help me adjust to the surroundings. During my expedition i will also complete a trek along the coast Cambodia and through the jungle. Depending on my trek, I may also learn about jungle survival skills, discover local villages ways of life or learn about natural habitats and wildlife. The project phase of an expedition is spent working alongside a local community or on a conservation project. These may consist of typical manual labour tasks, establishing a clean water supply, carrying out maintenance on pathways, tree planting and reforestation or monitoring marine wildlife populations. Finally the rest and relaxation phase. This is where i will get to enjoy cultural and adventure activities, such as scuba diving, safaris and visiting historical ruins and places.
