charity which was founded and registered with the charity commission in 2010 to help homeless ex-service personnel.Currently it is estimated that there are more than 4,500 ex-service members of the British Armed Forces which are homeless throughout the UK and we are expecting this number to rise in the near future.We are focused on helping our ex-service personnel enjoy clean living environments - a place where they can feel at home.We also focus on helping them find a permanent home through private and social housing and in most cases assist them with a grant where the charity pay the deposit plus an upfront rent payment set out by the landlord/letting agents and any agency fee's, help with white goods and furniture if applicable, no monies will be available direct to clients. Our outreach projects include helping ex-service personnel with food, clothing and advice. In addition to this, UK Homes 4 Heroes can provides external counselling service to assist with a host of psychological disorders including PTSD.UK Homes 4 Heroes Pride & Passion have been feeding our Lads and Lassies at Street level outside St Johns Church waterloo London since 2010, in November 2021 the charity received the Southwark Lockdown Hero Award, which UKH4H are very proud to have one this award.
