Willenhall E-ACT Academy

Willenhall E-ACT Academy builds on Willenhall School Sports College’s proven track record of high standards, encouraging and rewarding achievements by all. We are a mixed Academy educating pupils in the 11-18 age range. The Academy has over 1540 Students on roll of which two hundred are post sixteen and housed in their own sixth form area. We are over-subscribed and have a waiting list to join us in Year 7. At Willenhall E-ACT Academy you will find an orderly and welcoming environment. We seek to achieve the highest standards of work and behaviour and to instil in our students the need for self-discipline. All pupils are expected to conduct themselves in a mature and responsible manner conforming to the school rules. The ‘Willenhall Way’ is our code of conduct and is readily understood by all. We are a restorative organisation built on the recognition that all relationships may need repair from time to time. We instil in students the skills to repair these relationships so that they become emotionally literate and better equipped to meet the demands of the varied relationships they will forge into adult life. The school takes great pride in the fact that we have: Increased the number of students achieving 5 GCSE A-C from 13% to 75% during the last 10 years. Similarly raised our 5A*-G's, 1A-G's and average point score. At A level most students go on to higher education at a variety of universities around the country. E-ACT is currently responsible for 13 open Academies and 1 Free School, with many more in development. E-ACT works in partnership with a wide range of organisations, all of whom support their Academy’s ongoing development and focus on improving opportunities and results for all students.
