World Challenge 2011 Fundraising - William Hopkins

In summer 2011, William Hopkins and a group of fellow pupils from his school will be heading to Bolivia and Chile in South America, to engage in community projects, such as working in orphanages, schools or engaging in manual building work for the local community, and a challenging walking/climbing expedition, the climax of which will be to (hopefully) summit an active volcano in Northern Chile. The volcano, Parinacota, stands at nearly 21,000ft above sea level, and if we are successful, we will be not only the first World Challenge group to have completed this extraordinary feat, but also will break the current record for the highest a World Challenge group has ever been. Obviously, an expedition such as this does not come cheaply, and each participant must raise £4,000 in funds before July 2011. By using this website, you will not only be supporting my fundraising efforts at no extra cost to your normal shopping, but you will also be helping us help the under-privileged communities and people we visit on our journey.
