About Worcester Street Pastors
WSP is an interdenominational group of volunteers patrolling Worcester city centre every Saturday night of the year, from 10 pm to 4 am. The aim is to show care to vulnerable people: listening to them, and showing practical support- providing water, flip flops, energy snacks and thermal blankets. Their friendly presence helps defuse aggressive situations , and ensures safety for those needing to get home. Additional funding will help to recruit and train more volunteers, providing more cover.
