About Marwell Zoo
Marwell Zoo is a beautiful 140-acre outdoor attraction, nestled in Winchester’s countryside featuring hundreds of exotic and endangered animals. Habitats include Thriving Through Nature, Wild Explorers, and the award-winning Energy for Life: Tropical House.
From Amur tigers, giraffes, zebras, snow leopards, white rhinos, flamingos, Humboldt penguins and many more, visitors can watch as they explore their habitats that have been designed to mimic their wild environment. Children can go wild in the adventure playgrounds which include accessible equipment so, all children can safely play and there are plenty of catering outlets to enjoy meals, light bites and snacks. Open daily from 10am, 363 days a year.
As a charity, ticket sales contribute towards Marwell Zoo's projects to conserve species and habitats globally.
