Ways to get your £5 bonus

Shop in person or online at John Lewis and/or Waitrose this month. Complete all three shops by midnight on 31st August, as your shop count starts again on 1st September.

Stock up on BBQ food or bits and bobs for a picky tea. £40 minimum spend required.

FAQs

To get your £5 bonus, shop 3 times at Waitrose and/or John Lewis by midnight on 31st August 2026.

Both online and in-store purchases count towards your 3 shops. You can shop exclusively with one retailer or mix and match between Waitrose and John Lewis.

Your third qualifying shop must be completed by midnight on 31st August 2026. From 1st September, your shop count resets, and you'll need to complete 3 new qualifying shops to earn the bonus.

Yes. You'll still receive your usual Waitrose or John Lewis donation for every eligible shop. If you complete 3 qualifying shops within the promotional period, you'll also receive the additional £5 bonus donation.

Only for Waitrose online. To raise a donation, you will need to spend a minimum of £40. 

The £5 bonus promotion runs from 1st August to 30th September 2026. Complete 3 qualifying shops each month to earn a £5 bonus donation. Do this in August, and September, and you could raise an extra £10 for your cause.

 

Yes. The £5 bonus donation is exclusively available to supporters and admins of schools and PTAs (Primary, Infants, Junior Schools/Academies, Secondary Schools/Academies, PTAs, and School Support). 

The £5 bonus campaign will run from 1st August - 30th September 2026. 

Your £5 bonus donation will be added to your account at the beginning of the following month. For example, if you complete 3 eligible shops in August, your £5 bonus will be paid in early September. You will see it in your easyfundraising account as a 'Goodwill donation'.
