Who are we?

Easyfundraising are entering an exciting phase in the growth of our business and we are looking for talented and motived individuals to join us.

easyfundraising.org.uk is the UK’s leading feel good shopping site – offering charities and other good causes the chance to raise free donations every time their supporters shop online.  With nearly 3,000 retailers on board, including Amazon, John Lewis, Argos, M&S, Tesco, Asda, Next, Expedia, ebay, Sky and many more, donations can be raise on everything from hats to holidays.  Since launching in 2007, there are now over 65,000 active good causes registered with easyfundraising, from schools and local community groups, to national charities and 800,000 registered supporters!

Campaign Executive

Looking for an exciting marketing role in a growing business?

If you are a communications or campaign professional with experience in a digital environment and are looking for that next challenge then this could be just for you. Plus you'll be helping make the world a better place!

Who are we looking for...

We need a strong campaign professional full of drive, energy and ideas to really bring our campaigns to life and be part  of the rapid growth of easyfundraising as we realise our ambition of becoming a household name.

What will you be doing…

You need to be able to plan and manage the implementation of all campaigns to both existing users and new users of easyfundraising. Through your thorough planning you'll ensure all campaigns are integrated across the channels.

Key responsibilities...

  • Working with the Campaign Manager to plan and deliver multi-channel campaigns which integrate everything from onsite activity, to email and social to deliver campaign objectives
  • Briefing and working with content production to come up with creative hooks for campaigns and ensure they are executed in a style and way that is on brand and going to cut through
  • Getting under the skin of our customers and partners to understand the problems that our communications and campaigns need to solve
  • Coming up with new ideas of how technology and its capabilities e.g. email / Social could be used to improve the effectiveness of a campaign
  • Reviewing campaign performance against key KPI’s and ensuring learnings are taken and applied to further activity
  • Attending regular meetings with Partner organisations and representing marketing in these meetings, example organisations include: PTA- UK, World Challenge and Girl Guiding, then coming up with suitable marketing plans to support the agreed objectives
  • Managing an ongoing calendar of activity for Partner organisations through the year

What are the essential skills and experience you need...

  • Proven campaign executive experience
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A good solid grounding of all digital marketing channels plus a strong knowledge of email and social use
  • The ability to understand the customer and put them first
  • Strong drive and determination

Part Time Content Production Planner

Who are we looking for...

We’re looking for an experienced and organised content professional who is well versed in balancing the demands of a busy and growing content team. Tenacious, determined and driven to deliver to deadlines this person will be the gatekeeper of content output and responsible for the on time, on budget and on brief development of all creative content.

What will you be doing…

You’ll be part of our rapidly expanding content team and will work with the designers, copywriters and external content suppliers to own and manage workflows and priorities within the department and take ownerships of processes needed to deliver exceptional content.

Key responsibilities...

The Content Production Planner will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Content team including the following -

  • Managing incoming briefs and workflow, including challenging briefs to understand objectives.  This may involve coaching wider team member on producing good briefs
  • Ensuring our content briefing process is followed and developing that process further,
  • Using and reviewing software to assist in effective briefing, workflow and sign off
  • Receiving Assigning projects / briefs to members of the content team,
  • Forecasting peaks and troughs in demand and ensuring the department is resourced properly to respond to needs
  • Creating, managing and developing a roster of freelance content experts

What are the essential skills and experience you need...

  • The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a mix of project management, account management and creative skills
  • Experienced in managing a creative studio or creative workflows and teams
  • Extremely organised with an ability to constantly review and flex priorities to meet business needs, the ability to manage multiple projects and timescales
  • A strong background in creative briefing and an excellent understanding of a good creative brief with an ‘eye for design’
  • A single minded drive to get a job done to the required standards demonstrable determination
  • A strong understanding of digital marketing and the challenges creative and copy faces in this environment
  • Experience sourcing and managing external suppliers
  • An ability to work and thrive in a fast paced environment

Senior Designer

Who are we looking for...

We’re looking for an experienced multi discipline designer to join our ever growing content team. We need people who love design and are passionate about the power of good design both online and offline.  You need to be able to create great concepts within design guidelines and bring our brand and campaigns to life across all disciplines from onsite, display advertising, offline media and social media. You need to relish a challenge and be ready with the right skills to deliver excellent work.

What will you be doing…

You’ll have the chance to be involved in all types of design within our busy content team. Day to day there will be web design, graphical sharing assets, advertising campaigns and much more.

Key responsibilities...

  • Lead and develop creative ideas from a marketing brief
  • Turn concepts into effective integrated designs, from web pages to social media assets and printed materials
  • Be proactive with ideas to help drive the business and creative standards across the business

What are the essential skills and experience you need...

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a mix of creative and design skills , ideally including some or all of the following -

  • Strong proven experience in a design discipline
  • Designing for a digital environment – HTML skills preferable
  • Creative thinking and concepts
  • Graphic design including illustration
  • Some knowledge of UI design (though we are not looking for a UI designer)
  • Wireframing webpages
  • Applying brand guidelines and brand guardianship
  • Experience working with digital marketers

Senior PHP Developer

If you love the web, would like to work within a talented team and use the very latest web technology, then we may have the job for you!

We are looking for a talented web developer to help contribute towards the phenomenal success that is easyfundraising. Projects in the pipeline include international expansion, the development of mobile applications and site-wide gamification.

We are on the verge of changing our infrastructure to use cutting edge technologies and best practice in order to deliver an exceptional user experience - and you could be part of it!

You will need to:

  • Understand the Internet and what makes it work.
  • Have a pragmatic and focused approach to deliver quality work.
  • Have a passion for all things web and a keen interest in emerging technologies.

Essential skills:

  • PHP 5, with a thorough understanding of OOP.
  • MySQL 5.
  • HTML/CSS, using semantic markup compliant with W3C standards.
  • Native JavaScript.
  • jQuery.
  • SVN/Git.
  • Experience using MVC frameworks.
  • Experience operating in a Linux/Apache environment.
  • An understanding of API's and RESTful web services.
  • The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

Desirable skills:

  • An understanding of the latest client-side technology including HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Experience in relational database design, including the production of ERDs.
  • Experience with the Google Chrome extensions API.
  • An understanding of SEO/SEM.
  • Experience in server side performance optimisation using technologies such as Nginx, MongoDB, Memcached etc.
  • Experience with unit testing procedures and frameworks (e.g. PHPUnit).
  • Experience with deployment systems (e.g. Phing).
  • Mobile application development.
