About Benjamin Franklin House

Benjamin Franklin House is a dynamic museum and educational facility in central London. The world’s only remaining Franklin Home, the House opened to the public on 17 January 2006, Franklin’s 300th birthday, following the completion of conservation and the creation of educational and public facilities. The object of the Foundation is to enhance education for the public benefit through the “museum as theatre” Historical Experience, the innovative hands-on Student Science Centre and the Robert H. Smith Scholarship Centre, as well as hosting a variety of exciting initiatives and special events.
