More about The Abbey Theatre Club
The Abbey Theatre was formed in 1964 when the present premises were acquired by the Arbroath Dramatic Club. Over the years it has developed into the theatre you see today. It is run entirely by amateurs and is funded solely by our productions and rental facilities. We have a 79 seat auditorium with modern lighting and sound systems; a hearing loop; 2 coffee lounges and kitchen area. backstage has ladies\' and gents\' dressing rooms, green room, wardrobe and large storage area. The premises can be hired at a reasonable rate. New members are always welcome.
