About Birmingham & District Theatre Guild (BDTG)
The BDTG is almost 80 years old. Our objects and principal activity is to promote amateur theatre including drama and musical societies in the Midlands, particularly involving young people. We also aim to organise annually 'Birmingham's Festival of Acting and Musical Entertainment' (BFAME). We endeavour to develop and improve the knowledge, understanding and practice of theatre together with the provision of information, training and advocacy.
