About Breathtakers

Supporting a rare, debilitating and irreversible lung disease called Obliterative Bronchiolitis (OB), mostly affecting children and young adults. Prognosis is dificult to predict for individual cases though lung transplant can sometimes be an end stage option. There is no known treatment for OB and because it is rare it attracts no government or health funding. Breathtakers gives emotional and practical support and advice to sufferers and their families and raises awarness with professionals and is working towards re-instating research into OB.
