About Coldstream Youth Project

The Trust provides a wide range of social, cultural and educational opportunities to the whole of this rurally isolated community, in a safe and stimulating environment. To do this we have renovated a large historic building and converted it into a multi purpose Community Centre. We employ staff to run a professional Youth Service and we support families by providing an Out of School Club and Holiday Club, offering childcare throughout the year.

Our diverse programme of activities for children and young people include a variety of workshops to learn new skills, volunteer placements projects, trips and residentials outside Coldstream area. We provide intergenerational work through delivery of adult education programmes by youth peer workers in the internet café along with Peer Education.

• We are involved in the development of Youth Achievement Awards and MV awards both in Berwickshire High School and in our own Youth Project
• We are making effective links and partnerships with other community organizations.
