About Freshfields Animal Rescue
Registered Charity 508579. We provide a safe and secure environment for unwanted animals and take in animals that other centres reject. We operate a non-destructive policy. This places a huge burden on the staff and Trustees. We are constantly seeking funds to feed and house the animals in our care. We have 2 centres: Liverpool has kennels for 70 dogs, a cattery with 150 cats, a small farm, and a wild-life sanctuary. Caernarfon in Snowdonia has a 19 acre hill farm with 27 horses and ponies, 70 cats, 8 dogs, pigs and sheep. We depend entirely on donations, legacies and income from our 7 charity shops staffed by volunteers. Last year we re-homed over 1500 animals. Telephone 0151 931 1604
