About Sight Advice South Lakes
Sight Advice South Lakes aims to support people with visual impairment to improve the quality of their lives, together with promoting greater awareness of sight issues.
Specifically, we aim to:
• enable visually impaired people to live independently
• provide practical and emotional support to visually impaired people and their families and carers
• enable visually impaired people to access social support and activities
• promote awareness of sight issues and to campaign with, and on behalf of, visually impaired people.
Sight Advice South Lakes is an independent local charity which relies on its own fundraising efforts as it does not receive funding from any national or regional visual impairment charity.
