About Snowdon Award Scheme - Helping disabled students
The Snowdon Award Scheme provides grants to physically disabled students, including those with sensory impairment, who are studying in the UK in further or higher education or training towards employment. We provide funds to cover the additional costs that these students have to incur as a result of their disability and where those costs are not adequately funded by available statutory awards. This includes such vital support as carers, translators for deaf students, computers, specialist software, wheelchairs or special accommodation and equipment.
