About St Hilda's Church - Firswood

A lively growing local church for the communities of Firswood and Gorse Hill, an inner urban parish, with a thriving multicultural church primary school of >370 children. The membership reflects the local area, we now have many sessions of youth work each week, and there are also growing numbers of young families. In partnership with the local Childrens Centre we are working to extend and equip the building for wider ministry and community use. The church buidling is very close to Old Trafford Metro station, and is the parish church not only of the local community but also for the many institutions nearby including Trafford Town Hall, Greater Manchester Police Authority, Lancashire County Cricket Club and Manchester United Football Club, as well as many large businesses in and near to Trafford Park.
