About TAME Community First Responders

We are a voluntary organisation that responds to \'999\' calls alongside the Statutory Ambulance Service in the Tamworth and Fazeley Area of Staffordshire. We respond to all category \'A\' and \'B\' calls which are deemed life threatening or serious emergencies. We are trained to deal with a wide range of emergencies whether medical or trauma including road traffic collisions and cardiac arrests. It is a proven fact that time is critical for patients suffering a cardiac arrest and in Staffordshire we have improved the out of hospital survival of cardiac arrest from 3.5% to 11%.
