Welsh National Opera is one of the UK's major opera companies and the recipient of every major opera prize, including the Oliviers, RPS Awards, and this year’s prestigious TMA Award for Achievement in Opera and South Bank Sky Arts Award for opera. We come from Wales, a country synonymous with the voice, vocality and singing and with strong traditions of musicianship. We are proud of these roots but our work takes us much further. We are the busiest touring opera company in the UK and we work hard to ensure our award-winning work is accessible to as wide an audience as possible.
