A Heritage project, rescuing original First World War military wooden huts, abandoned or due for demolition. Utilised as village halls, Scout and Guide huts, and homes in the 20th century, none will be left if no-one preserves them. The team are restoring and rebuilding the huts at a visitors centre near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, where they will tell the story of the huts during wartime and thereafter. Your support is vital, please sign up to help preserve this piece of our history. Thank you.
