  1. The Nepal Leprosy Trust is struggling to help people in the aftermath of the earthquakes and now the blockades at the border so food and fuel are very difficult to obtain. They have a hospital at Lalgadh which provides medical help for an area of over 2 million people. Sometimes there can be up to 300 people for a morning’s clinic. They also set up self help groups so communities can support each other and there are projects that help with education, reduction of stigma of disability and other initiatives too numerous to mention here. This is a very small charity with a huge impact so please support them.

  2. The Roberts Centre provide much needed support to families in vulnerable situations including addiction, homelessness and financial/ personal issues. They are a vital service in the time of massive government and council cuts and when we have a huge increase of homeless people in the city of Portsmouth. Please give to them as they truly need it to continue this invaluable work.
