Frequently Asked Questions

How does easyfundraising work?

Just start your online shopping journey at easyfundraising, then shop as normal with any of our 4,200 retail partners. Once you make a purchase, our retailer partners will make a small donation to your chosen cause to say 'thank you'.

Can I raise donations for my own good cause?

Yes, you can register your own good cause for free, provided that you're based in the UK and have altruistic goals. You don't have to be a registered charity, it could be a personal challenge, the girl guides, your child's school or sports team, the list is endless!

I can't find the good cause I want to support, can I invite them to join?

You can ask any good cause or charity to join easyfundraising. It's free for them to join - they simply need to register with us.

Is easyfundraising free to use?

Yes. We've raised millions for good causes across the UK and we're a member of the Institute of Fundraising. We know it's important for you to have complete confidence in us so if you have any questions, please get in touch or read what our members say about us.

Do I need to visit the easyfundraising website before making a purchase?

Yes. We note your visit to the retailer website, then to say 'thank you' for your purchase the retailer knows where send a donation - to your selected cause. However, if you want to make things easy for yourself, simply install our Donation Reminder, which automatically detects when you visit a retailer's site, so you don't have to remember to visit our website beforehand.

How often will my good cause receive a payment?

When supporters shop online, their donations are allocated to the cause that they support. Every three months we send the cause the donations that have been raised in that time, so long as £15 or more has been raised. If the £15 threshold hasn't been reached, the donation simply rolls over to the next payment.
