Steventon village is the birthplace of Jane Austen and she regularly attended the church for the first 25 years of her life whilst her father was the Rector. 2025 sees the 250th anniversary of her birth so it is important that the church is in good repair for the expected increase in visitors. This donation will help us restore and maintain this significant heritage building."
