Make a Racket – Winner Announcement

Throughout Wimbledon fortnight we asked you to make a racket about your easyfundraising cause and we’ve heard you loud and clear!

The fantastic responses we’ve had from you is testament to your passion for your good cause and for that you can all feel proud – especially if you’ve gained a few new supporters in the process.

By sharing your creative #MakeARacket photo as much as possible, you managed to pull in votes from all your friends, family and supporters.

Well, the votes are in and they’ve been counted and verified…the results are…

In fifth place is Marion Ellis! Congratulations, you’ve won a £15 prize donation for The Scratching Post with 315 votes.

“Scratching Post is a small cat rescue. We #MakeARacket about the need to neuter to bring a halt to the overpopulation and euthanasia of many cats/kittens in shelters in the UK. £100 would help is to provide a stray cat with the basic treatments to start it on the road to a loving home.”

In fourth place we’ve got Laura Moodie. Well done, you’ve also won a £15 prize donation for your cause, BrightGroup’s Niagara Falls to NY City Cycle 2015 with 420 votes.

“We are aiming to raise £6000 for Marie Curie to support the amazing work they do looking after people living with a terminal illness and their families. £100 would go towards achieving this ambitious target!”

In third place is Gemma Menhenitt! A £30 prize donation is on its way your cause Clay County Cat Care with 657 votes. Great work.

In second place is Lizzy Rinder after a fantastic effort! You’ve won a £40 prize donation for City Cat Shelter with 707 votes!

“We are a self-funded organisation rescuing strays like Jimmy and giving them a chance of a home. Jimmy had to have a section of his ear removed, and was castrated as part of our citywide campaign to help prevent unwanted kittens. £100 will pay for three more stray tomcats to be neutered!”

And finally, in first place, with 716 votes is Claire Read! Huge congratulations, you’ve won a £100 prize donation for your cause, Friends of Margaret Shelter Romania, plus £150 to spend at Sweaty Betty.
