Who are our causes?

Here at easyfundraising, we’ve always been proud of the diverse nature of our causes. Recently we asked our members on Facebook to tell us about the cause they support and why. Here’s a few of the fantastic responses from our dedicated easyfundraisers:

Angel Children Grief Share Support Group support bereaved families and people living with brain injury or a brain tumour. Marilyn Foden set up the group after losing her 18 year old son to a brain tumour.

Trish Shortland registered her charity, The Hedgehog Haven, with easyfundraising to raise money to rehabilitate sick and injured hedgehogs.

The Toonie Express Adventure Racing Club raise funds with easyfundraising and are taking part in the Welbourn 10k race on August 22nd to raise funds for Help for Heroes and Welbourn Village Hall.

CMT United Kingdom is the UK’s national support group for people with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, a hereditary neuro-muscular condition that causes mobility and dexterity problems to varying degrees.

Shirley Eason raises funds for JMECA – raising awareness of and funds to support Christian’s in Jerusalem and the Middle East.

Every Chance Rescue saves dogs from mistreatment and provides them with a safe, secure foster home where they receive the highest quality of care and treatment.

First Aid 4 Gambia supplies first aid equipment to nursery schools in Gambia and train teachers, assistants and parents in first aid.

Linda Taylor raises funds for Hampshire Search & Rescue. They are a group of volunteers who are called out to assist the police searching for vulnerable missing persons.

Woodspring Junior Football League has over 2000 children playing football between September and May – that’s a lot of kits to buy and wash!

Huntingdon Senior Section Unit of Girlguiding  are using the money they raise with easyfundraising for equipment and to help with trips and events, including a proposed  trip to Japan to celerbrate 95 years of guiding in Japan.
