About this cause

About our cause

We are based in the village of Dinnington within the boundary of Newcastle upon Tyne and were formed in 1933. We run Beaver, Cub & Scout sections for both boys & girls from age 6 to 14+, offering activities which promote self esteem, confidence and loyalty to others and which help to create positive thinking adults of tomorrow. Money raised will enable us to keep making a difference and will ensure that every member of the group can benefit from a wide range of activities/challenges.

easyfundraising® is the UK’s biggest charity shopping fundraising site

It's simple to use and it's free. Since we launched in 2005, we've helped thousands of good causes raise money simply by shopping online. Our community of over 1.8 million loyal supporters has so far raised over £31 million.
