About this cause

About our cause

This group is dedicated to preserving the sulzer 6LDA28A powered 26024 and 26038 at Bo'ness near Edinburgh. 26038 has just returned from 3 years at North Yorkshire Moors Railway. 26024 is in the process of overhaul as shed space and man time permit. We are hopeful it will be running during 2020. These diesels spent most of their working lives based around Edinburgh and Inverness. Please support these fine diesels and ensure that their wonderful sound can be heard in the Scottish Lowlands.
