From June 12-26 I will be heading to Uganda with a team of volunteers to build a playground at a local school. Play is crucial for children's mental health and to help them release stress to better focus on their education and improve overall wellbeing. Play Action International has won Charity of the Year in the UK and is committed to ethical and sustainable practice. Much of their playground equipment comes from recycled materials and jobs are provided to local residents through skilled labour (volunteers only complete unskilled labour tasks). Please consider contributing to giving students at a Ugandan school the opportunity to fully experience childhood through play at their new playground!
