In July of 2019, I will be travelling to Mexico with a conservation research organisation called Operation Wallacea. They are a non-profit organisation carrying out vital research in the field of ecology at sites all over the world, providing insights to questions related to human impacts on species extinction. I will be travelling to their Calakmul biosphere reserve site, a large patch of dry forest forming part of the Yucatan peninsula, to research the devastating effects of climate change.
