Over £32m raised for good causes through easyfundraising
It's going to be an adventure of a lifetime!! I'm going to be travelling to both countries by rail, road and river. I want to embrace the culture and take part in helping communities with development projects with the help of being part of my team. Both countries are mainly jungle and very hilly, so I will need to be fit, strong and healthy. It will be their rainy season when we travel in July, and this runs between May and October. The temperature of both countries ranges from 25 degrees to -35 degrees and they are 7 hours ahead (GMT). Thai is the official language of Thailand with many dialects and in Laos the official language is Lao but some people also speak English and French. I am looking forward to sleeping in homestays, hostels and hammocks, as myself, along with my mum, dad and three brothers have always had camping holidays which are so exciting and you feel so free. I am also looking forward to raising money to help towards my exciting trip!
