World Challenge Croatia 2015 - Alex Schilling

Challengers will have the opportunity to take part in a number of adventurous activities in and around the surrounding areas of Croatia's beautiful national parks. Teams will be able to trek thorough dramatic landscapes, explore the caves and grottos in these parks and their surrounding areas and take part in a water based activities such as kayaking, canoeing or rafting on one of Croatia's many clear rivers or stunning coastal areas. Teams are likely to fly into either Zagreb or Split before heading onto their respective camps. Once in country teams will commence their trekking and canoeing phases in one of Croatia's national parks. Croatias national parks boast outstanding natural beauty made up of dramatically formed karstic gorges and cliffs. Trekking in Croatia offers stunning views extending from the highest peaks across Croatia. Croatia offers a number of spectacular rivers on which to kayak; canoe or raft, and teams may be able to take part in a river journey. They may also have the opportunity to paddle on the Adriatic Sea, either in one of the mainland bays or around the secluded bays of Vrgada Island.
