In summer 2010, I have been given an opportunity to go to Kenya with charity Camps International for a month. The expedition will be split into three parts, conservation of marine life and the environment, protecting wildlife on land and helping with community projects. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to make a difference for families in Kenya, helping to improve their environment whilst helping me to learn a lot about my own, so I can use the tools I have learnt to continue the work when I get back to England. It is going to cost me nearly four thousand pounds to go on the trip including equipment, flights/transfers, vaccinations etc. (see the pricing and kit list on the website. I believe I have been given a chance to make a lasting difference to somebody elses life and I really want to be able to take that chance. Please help me.
