Over £32m raised for good causes through easyfundraising
I am a student in Year 10 at The Burgate School in Fordingbridge, and I am participating in a school expedition to Ecuador and the Galapogos Islands in the summer of 2013. This will be a four week expedition and will include community development work, wildlife conservation and an adventure element. The core objectives of this expedition are to undertake projects in order to: 1 .Spend time in Ecuador’s cloud forest, Pacific Coast and Galapagos Islands 2.Work on important projects to improve the standard of living for rural communities 3 .Participate in ongoing conservation initiatives to protect valuable wildlife and the environment, including supporting spectacled bear conservation. 4. Work on exciting marine conservation projects I need to raise a further £2000. which will go towards ways that benefit the area through providing tools for the volunteers or materials to build with and investing in anti-poaching patrols.
