Over £32m raised for good causes through easyfundraising
In Summer 2017 I am hoping to go out to Ecuador (South America) for 4 weeks. This is an amazing opportunity to provide much needed help as 1 in 4 of children in Ecuador do not get an education and for some, going to school everyday provides them with the only meal they may have all day, this is why on my Expedition I will be helping others to build classrooms for those 1 in 4 of children that do not already go to school. Not only this but I will also be along side others in replanting part of the Amazon Rainforest that has sadly suffered from deforestation. Deforestation of the Amazon is not only contributing to global warming but is also destroying the natural plants and habitats of the animals that live in the rainforest. Included in this are the spectacled bears, their habitat are being cut down so along with replanting the trees I will also be able to plant food trees for them, address bear-human conflict as well as habitat protection for the bears.
