About our cause

My expedition involves a project dedicated to improving the lives of African communities in need. This includes building classrooms to provide children with a safe place to learn, along with desks and benches for school children who would otherwise sit on the floor to learn and installing fresh water tanks at schools and in villages. My expedition also helps wildlife, by digging elephant watering holes helping them survive the dry season, making elephant deterrents to protect local crops which reduces elephant poaching and increases crop production for the villagers to eat! As rhinos are hugely endangered and poaching is rife in East Africa, Rhino sanctuary maintenance work will be done to prevent this as much as possible; this and much much more will be contributed to throughout this expedition! However, my expedition will also include once in a lifetime opportunities, such as climbing Mt Kenya, Mt Mulange or Kilimanjaro, going on a big game safari, playing games with the local children putting smiles on their faces, and completing a scuba diving course in the tropical Indian Ocean!
