Edinburgh Global Partnerships, EGP, is a student-run charity based at the University of Edinburgh. We send groups of volunteers overseas to participate in a variety of communities, in this case in Kerala province in India where we will be creating a sustainable income for elderly women in the community by helping a local NGO Mitranaketan set-up goat rearing. This project was proposed by a self-help group amongst struggling elderly women in the community.
It's simple to use and it's free. Since we launched in 2005, we've helped thousands of good causes raise money simply by shopping online. Our community of over 1.8 million loyal supporters has so far raised over £31 million.
