Angus, my 17yo son has been selected to crew Rona II, a tall ship from Rona Sailing Project on the final leg of the Transatlantic Tall Ship Race from Mirimachi, Canada to Le Havre, France in Aug 17. Funds are needed to refit Rona II, buy new rigging and to future proof her. The race will help raise the profile of the project and volunteers enabling them to continue their work; giving 1000's of young people from a range of backgrounds a sense of responsibility, resourcefulness and teamwork.
