In October I am hoping to travel to Morocco with my school to take part in a World Challenge Expedition. The purpose of the trip is to equip students for the future, be it in education, training or employment. This trip will be a great learning experience and will provide me with enormous opportunities for the development of life and learning skills. During the trip I will trek deep into the Toubkal National Park in the high Atlas Mountains summit, the highest peak in Morocco and North Africa, trekking a total of 4167 metres. I am thoroughly looking forward to the hard work and the exercise I will be getting whilst trekking and can't wait to see the view from the top and really appreciate all my hard work. I have never travelled to Morocco and therefore I am really excited to experience the food, culture and lifestyle. The total cost of the trip is £1245 and I need to raise over 80% of the money by myself through fundraising. To raise money I will carry out a range of activities including cookie and cake sales, car washes, dog walking, charity run and much more.
