About Appledore Band

Appledore Band is a community Brass Band based in Appledore, North Devon. In addition to supporting many local events we provide instrument loan, tuition and the opportunity to play in a group for those wanting to learn to play a brass band instrument. The band recieves no regular grant/funding from any source and therefore its members and generous supporters work tirelessly each year to raise the £9000 it costs to keep the band going. Did you know? * Last year the Band funded 50% of the music tuiton costs for 8 members * Last year the Band raised over £1000 for Charity * Last year the Band performed (Free of Charge) at no less than 15 community events. * Last Year the Band visited 6 local Nursing Homes and performed Christmas Carols on Christmas Day morning.
