About Arrowe Sound Hospital Radio
We are a charity hospital radio station, helping aid patient recovery since 1973. Formerly Radio Catherine we moved to Arrowe Park hospital in 1982 and became Arrowe Sound. Broadcasting 24/7 via HOSPITAL BEDSIDE/MOBILE/ONLINE. We are all volunteers and fundraising is an essential part, it helps pay for licences and replace vital equipment to keep us on air. We also go out into the community to help other deserving causes at their events. This is a very rewarding part of our volunteering role.
